What an idiotic piece, Chicanos dont base their identity around Spanish conquistadors, but around the Aztec and other indegenous warriors who fought them. Malinche was a traitor, no way around it, she was no victim. She had a way out of slavery when she was in Cholula and an indian women told her of the ambush against the spaniards the Indians in Cholula were planning. They were going to free her and even give her a place to stay but she instead went and told Cortez about the ambush, who then went on to massacre over 20,000 men and children. I bet you Malinche felt no remorse at all. The Aztec royalty would of helped her too but she helped manipulate them when they were nothing but hospitable to Cortez. Lets face it, malince saw a tall blonde, blue eyed powerful man and she felt attracted to her and betrayed her race because of lust
Thanks so much for clearing that up- I get it now :)
You have a typo in the first paragraph, second sentence. You said, "...two seemingly unrelated subject...", but what you should've said is, "...two seemingly unrelated subjects...". Your welcome for the help:)
I can't find the answers to my lab
Thank you for your appreciation!
In the Student Handout on the bottom of page 5, the bottom two rows of the table refer to the dry and liquid evidence from the scene of the crime. On the third page of the Teacher Preparation Notes, the second table describes how to prepare the dry and liquid evidence, depending on which worker you want to identify as guilty of taking the iPod. (If you teach multiple classes, you may want to rotate who is guilty in different classes.)
Good luck!
Ingrid
ask to take it again and if u fail show the cops ur exs stash
Thank you so much for the amazing resources you offer. I just began teaching this year, after many years as an education director for a non-profit. It is so wonderful to find resources that are as detailed, rigorous as yours. I also appreciate that so many of your resources use data! (The non profit I worked for supported the science of the Hubbard Brook Ecosystem Study and I too, tried to take data and turn it into something useful for teachers.... no easy task. I was excited to see that you used data from HB in one of the ecology activities that have students think about energy flow through an ecosystem.) I use your resources often- THANK YOU.
I'm also writing with a question about the activity: "Who took Jerell's iPod: An Organic Compound Mystery." The procedure states that students will test dry and liquid substances, and that it's important to keep and test them separately. I don't understand what the liquid samples might be? All of the ingredients in the lunches belonging to the various "possible suspects" seem to contain only dry ingredients. Can you please clarify? Thanks so much!

Kelley,
This is the scariest feeling to have about your own child. The first thing I did for my daughter was got a copy of all her health records (visits since birth). We lived in Kansas at the time and couldn't find a doctor to believe me when I talked about PANDAS to them. I went to therapists to therapists at different offices and many minutes...hours...days on researching myself. At the time PANDAS was pretty New in the US and doctors didn't know much or didn't have a lot of information on it. Get your daughter to a good Pyschatrists that specializes is OCD and ADHD. That way she won't get mid-diagnosed like my daughter. My daughters symptoms wax and waned for years at a extreme level. It was like Jekyll and Hyde. We moved out of Kansas we things were going good at the time for my daughter for a job my husband took in Georgia. It was heaven sent for us. My daughter had another onset of her symptoms again and I found a psychiatrists office that was able to see my daughter immediately with the therapists. Within a few visits the therapists said my daughter needed to see Doctor(pychatrists) immediately. So they were able to get me in the next day and we spent a hour and half with the Doctor the first visit. He went over everything with me and my daughter seperately. He said that she had missed diagnosed wrong and that he wanted to take a long hard look at her health records that I had multiple copies of. The next day when I saw him it was a hour visit and he said that his wife was a pediatric doctor and that this was a very unusual pattern of strep throat. NOTE; I didn't mention anything about pandas to this doctor because I got tired of being shot down and treated like I was a fool or crazy parent. The psychiatrists asked me if I have ever heard of "PANDAS" ...I broke done and cried in front of him and I said yes...he said then you have done your research and your a great parent for this. I told him no one believed me and that's why I didn't mention it to him. SO....he immediatley gave her a book for us. One side is parents and the other is children. It's called "Talking back to OCD". Since her symptoms were lot of OCD this book was awesome . He explained that this is no curable but dealing emotional/psychology of it is. He gave her a very very small dose of lexapro to help take the edge off so her mind could work through her thoughts with the book. The books helped learning tips for both of us. To help her sleep at night we had created a pattern of busy things we would do that worked for her. She was able to communicate to me when she felt at worst.
She is now 15 and doing just fine. We still see the same doctor. BUT when my daughter has a sore throat or gets sick with fever. The doctor give her penicillin to take for 3 weeks. After a few times taking Penicillin her strep illnesses slowed down. Please tell what you need help with. I will do whatever. I have been in your shoes...very scary. It will get better but you have to find a doctor who will listen to you! Keep me posted
Hello, I'm reading your message about your daughter, I have a six year old daughter who has the exact same symptoms as yours. I'm wondering if she finally received help? I'm so exhausted from notknowimg how to help her . Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Kelley
Is it really my choice though if my brain will not stop screaming for it
I am an investigative journalist and have something similar in my life but not to do with Anastasia.
I feel very strongly that the circumstances surrounding the life of Anna Anderson point to her being Anastasia for a whole variety of reasons and yes, she does bear a resemblance to the family. I would not be surprised having met many heirs and claimants of other royals that there are vested interests that make it all a minefield for the people involved. There are fanatics surrounding them who do more harm than good and do everything within their power to make life difficult for people who have legitimate access to Royal identity. Some do not even dare go to the countries concerned for fear of being attacked by most professionals with access to their bodies, like doctors and dentists etc. Some have survived attempted run overs and who remember the drivers tensed and desperate as they go for the killing. Two spoke to me about their narrow escapes and deep fears which they later confessed to the authorities.
I cannot help thinking that the whole Anastasia claim sounds very plausible and that Anna could not possibly have gone through all that unless she was not only convinced but felt she was through real memory and not play acting. She has to be either Anastasia or Tatiana and I cannot see any evidence anywhere that these two actually died. All forensic exercises at that level of power including the Shroud charage, have to be taken with a pinch of salt.
Keep me posted. There are millions out there who want to know more.
the way that you've put up the paper creating curiosity in readers and is so fascinating that it is making me read the complete sections of biology and meditation that you've mentioned in references.
The revisions of the Student Handout include more emphasis on having students actively construct their understanding of key points, with less explicit explanation. The revisions will also help students better understand random variation and the strengths and limitations of Punnett squares as models of inheritance. The revisions of the Teacher Preparation Notes include more guidance on how to incorporate NGSS Crosscutting Concepts In this activity.
The Student Handout includes more emphasis on having students actively construct their understanding of key points, with less explicit explanation. The Teacher Preparation Notes have improved the instructional suggestions and include a one-page quiz that can be used for summative assessment and/or to reinforce student learning.
The questions in the Student Handout have been revised to enhance student understanding and learning. In addition, I developed two versions of the Student Handout – one that includes analysis of the immunobiology and one with very little immunobiology and instead a section on the genetics of skin color that introduces concepts such as incomplete dominance and polygenic inheritance. The Teacher Preparation Notes provide improved instructions for the supplies and experiment.
My seizures have gotten worse and worse stressed out this never have enough money is it possible to get on Medicaid if you have seizures if not Medicare or disability
I take Tegretol twice a day one in the morning and one at night 200 milligrams a total of 400 milligrams in one day what can I tell my daughters doctor that this could really help her or not have as many a seizures

To engage student interest, the Student Handout begins with an analysis of characteristics of food poisoning that are related to population growth. To help students develop better understanding, I have revised and added questions and figures and reorganized the Student Handout. Revisions of the Teacher Notes include more explicit incorporation of NGSS Crosscutting Concepts.
Have you researched Bi-polar? My husband was diagnosed with Bi-polar II he mostly suffers from cyclothymic Bi-polar, but his symptoms are a lot like yours. My son has PANDAS and we discovered my husbands diagnosis while researching my son's symptoms. There are a lot of similar symptoms and I wouldn't doubt if some day they are able to link most disorders like bi-polar to something like PANDAS during childhood. My son had PANDAS for a year before he was diagnosed so the inflammation did some damage. He is much better than he was, however it has been 8 years since his diagnosis and due to the long term inflammation he has some lingering side effects like difficulty writing, math, and some sensory issues. He has been on a profolactic antibiotic for 8 years and currently that is the only way to keep his symptoms stable. I hope that helps you. My husband is medicated with a mood stabilizer and anti depressant and has been for 7 years it took us awhile to find the right meds but he is doing MUCH better now. No spending sprees, much less anxiety, less agitation, still some dark days but not as long lasting and not as depressing as before his medication.
For a 0.3% solution of sodium bicarbonate, you would add 0.9 grams of sodium bicarbonate to 300 mL of water. For a 0.5% solution of sodium bicarbonate, you would add 1.5 grams of sodium bicarbonate to 300 mL of water. For a 0.2% solution of sodium bicarbonate, you would add 0.6 grams of sodium bicarbonate to 300 mL of water. (See http://www.physiologyweb.com/calculators/percent_solutions_calculator.html.)
Hi One of my kids have panda and would like to know your results of the treatment naturally.
I could have written your post. Some of what you describe is OBE, Out of Body Experience. Also referred to as Astral Projection. Totally understand the alternate reality dreams. Mine look exactly like consciousness so I'm fake out that its a dream and like you, I know the people there and sometimes confide in them that I have a suspicion that I'm dreaming and laugh and say, "Are suggesting I dont exist!"
Here I would like to only address the issue of focal dystonia. As I commented about it way back in 2011, it is not a neurological condition but a simple mechanical strain of fascia in the hand. All the symptoms and difficulties come from strained fascia tissue
that is wrinkled and tightened, similar to tangled hair. For tangled hair, one must untangle it by combing through it gently, nothing else will help. Strained fascia can be easily released by light touch, holding the injured sites for awhile, each spot for 2-3 minutes until all spots are resolved. It usually takes 2-3 hours to resolve focal dystonia of one hand. Please visit my website, I'll be happy to answer anyone more questions.
Could you tell me how many grams of baking soda I would need to add to 300ml of water to make a .3-.5% solution?
Thank you for the help!

Buddhist don't seek to escape life, only not to get so caught up as to fail to be realistic about the other half -death. As a matter of fact to understand that death is something that will happen to all of us -death becomes a guide in how to live life to the fullest, to live in a manner that leaves no room for regrets. I would say that Buddhism is all about accepting the Tao as it is - to accept life in its totality. To flow with the natural Tao is to not suffer over change. Also, it isn't that they ignore the body, they just know the mind is primary and the body secondary even though the are intertwined.
This is completely accurate. I see it in my work as a personal trainer all the time - people want to lose weight but don't think exercise is that important in the process. I've heard (and seen) horror stories. Morbidly obese people who went on crazy diets to lose weight, but all they really lost was their mobility and what little capability for living a healthy life that they had left.
YES! shooting pains (random areas, feels like hot stabbing knives, 5-15 seconds),
-deep, burning numbness in arms and legs
-sunburn feeling on skin or on scalp
-continuous sore muscles, mostly in back
-joint pain
I have most all of the above. I don't have the sunburn feeling but I have intense scalp sensitivity. If I comb my hair differently, there is pain/soreness
I also have nerve pain in legs, toes and hands and I do have Raynauds Phenomenon
Please see the Teacher Preparation Notes for information about how to obtain the answer key, as well as instructional suggestions and background biology information.

Hi.
I hope by now your symptoms have improved and life is better.
