Thank you for posting this- these owls are adorable! I find it fascinating how much symbolism we can project on to creatures/ objects that have none of that meaning inherently. What creatures/ objects are given metaphorical significance and by whom, and why those creatures/ objects and not others? Definitely something I will be thinking about as I work on my creative project.
