When Agatha was creating her

When Agatha was creating her mosaic, she knew she wanted it to be musical, not visual. She recorded vocal clips in different parts of the city, clips that seemed to capture the essence of Philadelphia: shouts, conversations, noises. She created it without a set structure, focusing more on the texture of the piece, how it sounded, how to clips built on one another and worked together. For some of the conversational clips, she made a simple melody for them and made it into four part harmony.
