Culling the Norm-Setters  Teens

Leadership Training
  • Interwoven around weekly science activities
  • Initially leaders are randomly assigned
  • Frequent leader change gives opportunity to build ‘action potential’ file of norm-setter prospects.

Classroom Structure:

  • 12 tables with 2 students per table.
  • Six groups of 4 students each (including the leader) are formed by joining two proximate tables.
  • Student seating and group leaders vary throughout the year.
