This image also comes from HC--I was very surprised, when I found myself in Magill Library this week, to see that the gallery of presidential portraits that have been on display for years has been (temporarily?) replaced by an exhibit, "As Crow Flies Counterclockwise," based on a traditional Lenape prophecy of creation, contact, destruction and renewal. In one of the display cases I took note of this message, which I thought had resonance for our discussion of human communication in general, and The Hungry Tide in particular....
