Presentation Reflection

Our presentation tracked some main themes that we feel have brought us to our final destination in the course. It was interesting to see that we all left with a different idea in our mind based on the same course and material that we have gone over. It highlighted for me the idea that human interpretation is so subjective that it is unreliable in its regurgitation. If, for example, someone were to ask us what this course were about they would get 3 completely different stories but all which are true in their own way. Shields would practically jump for joy and exclaim over the fallacy of human memory. Overall I think we all benefited from the variety present in the classroom and we had richer, fuller discussions because of it. Everyone's presentations showed this as well with the different methods and ideas that they chose to focus on. The prezi above is the presentation we used with some elaboration on our parts about where our bird landed (or continued on its destination in Rachel's case).

I know! I had never heard of
I know! I had never heard of it either until we did this project together. It's a new and different way to make a presentation that engages the class while still giving the information that you want to get across. I actually plan on using it to do a final project for another class and it takes a while to get used to the technology so make sure you give yourself adequate time! or you will get stuck with half a presentation. If you need some help email me, Rachel or Jacky and we may be able to give you some pointers! Good luck! :)
Thanks. :)
Thanks. :)
I like the prezi idea.
I like the prezi idea. Thanks for sharing that. It is a nice way to change up a presentation and it gives me an idea of what form I would like to do my final project :)
