I'm certainly persuaded that vehicle emissions create a pollution problem.  And I strongly suspect you and I are not the only ones with some awareness of that problem.  Which in turn highlights what seems to me an even more serious set of issues: what progress has their been on this front, and what is there to learn from both the progress and the lack of it about how to make scientific findings more significant in public policy decisions?
