So, one closing thought on this course...

I just wanted to mention again how much I think this course could benefit from some discussion of the gendering of technology: harroway, cyborgs and all of that.  I'm probably just saying that because I find technology so interesting.  But also, scientific equipment and its creation are quite interesting in the context of discipline-specific science.  One of the reasons I wanted to make a powerpoint presentation was to be able to use technology in a different way.  That's all I wanted to add.  I enjoyed this course so much and really do miss it.  I'm out in the working world, wishing we could have one more academic discussion of daily life.  Oh well.
