Listening critically and contributing to further understanding

Paul, I think, has articulated a very important point for educators. Forget an emphasis on content...it will have no purpose for students or the contributions that they will make to society post formal education IF we don't first and foremost teach/model/practice listening critically and the use of productive dialogue skills.
