aogiarrat, your prezi--which i took at my own speed--guided me to move through these issues in an interestingly angled way. so, for example, one thing that really struck me was the way that just the 'dividing' of people in classes may 'keep them apart.' do you see it as intentional to limit people's knowledge and understanding of each other, or at least to perpetuate this distance? later you talk about the importance of 'bringing (class and classism?) into the light,' and i think you're offering this as a way that we can interrupt classism and inequity in our society. you also say that there will always be 'some sort of divide between people.' is bringing these divides 'into the light' the work of education? thanks for sharing your thinking on all this.
