my online reading experience

I have learned to appreciate reading literature on an e-reader (especially because classics are often free to download and allow you to very easily access a definition for a word in the text). in this respect, digital reading material makes close reading more accessible.

As the article mentions, digital reading also allows for juxtaposition, often another important part of interpretation.

I love that she brings up "Harrison Bergeron!" What a chilling tale that articulates my fears about the digital age and its breeding of distraction. One thing I cannot stand on my iPad is having my reading interrupted to be notified about a new email and turn those things off.
