memories

I feel that my memories are right or "truth" because thats what is comfortable to me. It may only be my story but that is also my comfort zone. Paul discussed how memories are just stories that we make up. How do I really know that what Paul is talking is not just a story he made up because he is comfortable with it. Everyone has stories that we build memories on but its hard to believe when we have pictures of an event that it is not necessarily true. Does that mean that we might not be exisiting right now? Is the brain and behavior institute just a story? Am I really in the midst of this class?Is Paul really been instructing me the last 8 days or is that just a story that my unconscious / or I function is formulating a set of observations? Is this really the summer of 07? I guess I will have to keep summarizing observation and make my story "less wrong"
