The differences between expectations and input create learning! Unless what you learn gets into the unconscious, it disappears! So my students will have to deal with a conventional teaching approach at the beginning of the year as I work out how to effectively control classroom behavior. Once we find we are both on the right track, we will learn through exploration and inquiry. Maybe the combination of both formats will create pathways in the brain that will promote learning.
