mental health as conversation facilitation and its complexities

Thanks for this. I've found it useful in a related discussion of education. The idea of therapist/mental health worker as facilitator of conversation between the unconscious and the story teller appeals to me. But it also raises some intriguing further complexities. The therapist, of course, also has an unconscious and a story teller, so there are actually multiple conversations going on/needing to be facilitated?
