The Learning-with-Scratch page at http://scratch.mit.edu has an interesting illustration of student learning. It portrays the processes of creating and learning as one. I think this similarity is important to note, especially in terms of science as a story. This parallel can be extended to the nature of art and science as human activities. It might even allow an artist to successfully teacher a science class.
