Going in circles...

Anne Dalke's picture

This is more "asking for clarification" than clarifying, I think, Emily, but now I feel I'm going in circles (which may be a consequence of Ann's refusing the "hierarchical" ordering principles in this game we're up to this summer...!)

Blended learning done right

While I didn't have the chance to attend the conference, I processed the recordings for upload to YouTube and archiving, so I had a chance to listen to/watch parts of most of the talks. Like Rebecca, I've also learned more about blended learning ideas & practices as part of our internship.

The argument here (that, given the ravages of climate change, we now "need to accept our role as reluctant gardeners," rather than keep "hands off" the country's wilderness) also makes a fascinating contrast to the commentary offered  @ ASLE by Wes Jackson last summer: that agriculture was "the bomb, the big mistake" in human history, that "the plowshare has destroyed more than

agree - and in fact just wrote something to this effect elsewhere, which brings home the point that this wasn't easily findable into that conversation.  i like clarify as a category.  and just to clarify:  maybe something to talk about with our students is how these categories might work in response to all or - very likely - part of a post, maybe even just a very discrete point.
