Hi, I'm Tosin Ajiboye. I'm from Houston, Texas. 2017. Biochem (?) major. My avatar is a picture I took inside of a cave at Wind Cave National Park when I worked there in the summer of 2010.
I was working with Student Conservation Association and we were replacing trail markers that the buffalo had destroyed because they used them similarly to the way humans use back scratchers. On our off days, we were able to tour the caves, which were nothing short of amazing. It was honestly fascinating because once you went underground into the caves, it was almost like a whole new world, competely different from the plains on which we were working. But actually, one is just on top of the other. Knowing that there's still so much to be known about the world around us, such as the deepest ends of the ocean and whatever lies beyond our galaxy, helps me to know that there's always something to look forward to. There's always something waiting to be discovered, we just have to be willing and open to go out and find it.
