  1. Rank the five locations in order of where you felt happiest.

    1. Morris Woods, northeast of English House
    2. The campus center parking lot
    3. The glass staircase in Dalton Hall
    4. English House I
    5. A laboratory in Park Science Building

  2. What influenced your comfort level? Why did you rank the locations the way you did?

My love for outdoors definetely influenced my comfort level. I ranked the locations according to what felt more like home for me. Home is where I feel most alive, home is where life surrounds me.  I felt most happy in Morris Woods. There was something enchanting about Morris Woods. Everything in there was alive and breathing. I could feel the cold seeping through each branch of every tree that surrounded me. I could see the light burning out in the sky above me. I could hear the soothing whispers of the wind breezing by my presence. I could hear myself breathing in sync with the woods. The campus center parking lot is ranked second in the list because the parking lot is a space of invitation and journey. Cars surrounded me from every corner. It gave me comfort in that I could literally change my life in a second if I wanted to. I could hop into a car and drive, drive, drive till I am so far gone, I'd have an entirely new identity. The glass staircase in Dalton Hall is ranked third in the list because there is comfort in how both the world and I can see each other through the glass. English House 1 is ranked fourth in the list because of the pleasant, comfortable, and cozy vibe it gave of. It was very homey yet elegant. A laboratory in Park Science Building is ranked fifth in the list because it is located in such a small, confined space. The smell of chemicals and the sight of beakers and flasks did not give me any comfort at all. There was nothing peaceful about the scene. If anything, it reminded me of the countless and tiring hours I had spent in the lab preparing chemical soultions.

  3. Rank the five locations in order of where you felt plants were happiest.

  4. What influences the comfort level of plants? Why did you rank the locations the way you did?

Light, space, and peaceful and positive vibes influence the comfort level of plants. Plants are bounded to the soft earth and are nurtured from biotic diversity.  The rankings above for plants are according to where there are more biotic diversity and biotic components/ factors ranging from sunlight to electric rays.

  5. What similarities are there between what plants and humans find most comfortable?

Some similarities that plants and humans find most comfortable would include the satisfaction of having a good home and what that home has to offer. Both humans and plants need the necessities (shelter, food and water) of life, positive vibes, and a safe space.

  6. What differences are there between what plants and humans find most comfortable?

I think there is no difference between what plants and humans find most comfortable. Both humans and plants are very fragile. They both need love, tenderness, compassion, and kindness in life. I think they are both one and the same thing.
