I think it was interesting to read the patient testimonals after reading the biological reports and medical case passages. I found that the biological reports and the medical cases made the disabilities sound much more grave. I was unhappy with the one comparison of one's bone marrow being analogous to swiss cheese. Reading those made me think of Peter Singer and his opinion that a life with disability correlates with a life of suffering. However the testimonials tell a different story of figuring out what one wanted to do as a profession, finding a party, having fun in college, having a child, and training for a marathon. It provided a more humanistic perspective and really helped highlight that for a neurodivergent individual their life and identity does not entirely become that disability. Overall I really enjoyed reading your midterm project. I found that the guiding questions prior to each collection were really helpful as well.
