For my final project, I created a website that talks about the idea of "Active Listening," and how we can become more aware and compassioante of other people's needs. It is founded in this idea promoting care for not just non-disabled parts of the individual and to encourage people to be themselves and actually listen to one another (I personally think the outcome is more interesting than the premise sounds). My hope is to eventually create a resource page that could be used in classrooms with an attached handout that could be used for customs (if that still exists?) and professors.
