Latour Response

Jessie Zong's picture

I believe Latour's main point in "Agency at the time of Anthropocene," is that we as humans are the most connected to the Earth, but we are also the one that is harming the Earth the most. We need to recgonize that the Earth is in fact very alive and we need to recognize and see that. We cannot ignore and refuse this fact that the Earth is alive just like we are. We need to recognize that we need to act now and we need to put in effort to help the Earth. We are in a stage and a tipping point where the Earth needs us to put in this effort.

My question is that, what can we do effectively to move forward and improve?
