In this project I will research the topic of Bryn Mawr's history of admitting low income students. Bryn Mawr originally admitted priviledged, wealthy students but now that has obviously changed. I believe that it is important that all students receive an equal oppurtunity to receive an education no matter where they stand financially. Therefore my topic will be about when Bryn Mawr started admitting and blending low income students into its community. This will include when the first student received financial aid to how the amount of aid given to students has increased and whether financial standings still play a role in admissions.
