I was drawn to the definition for Dark Water. I was particularly drawn to the line, "The roof over our heads suddenly becomes the very source of a profound anxiety." I think in a way, this can relate to the process of unlearning different things about ourselves or systems or processes. One of the things that I've noticed when being in conversation with people who are trying to unlearn harmful or limited ways of thinking is that they ways in which they/we currently think can be comfortable and stepping outside of that comfort zone can make a person anxious. Or if someone is not actively trying to unlearn/challenege/complicate their ideas, new information that does just that - which would be the leak in the ceiling - can overwhelm someone (be the flood in their house).

I'm also drawn to this definition because there is a gospel song with the lyrics, "there's a leak in this old building and my soul has got to move." In this song the leak, or presence of a leak, calls this person's spirit to want to leave and find a new home.
