Planning events for Bryn Mawr's new Disability, Unity, and Innovation Center

  • Friday, February 7th: Canaday A18 at 3pm,  a welcoming session to explain the mission of the Disability, Unity, and Innovation Center 
  • Friday, February 21st in Canaday A18 from 2-5pm: A presentation on accessible design practices followed by a workshop for people to brainstorm together the best way to arrange the DUIC to maximize accessibility.
  • March 20-21st: DeafSpace event 
    • Thursday, March 20th in the Great Hall at 6:30: DeafSpace keynote presentation with Hansel Bauman and Melanie Drolsbaugh. 
    • Friday, March 21st in Campus Center 105 from 10-11:30: Intro to ASL workshop with Melanie Drolsbaugh
    • Friday, March 21st in Campus Center 105 from 12-1:30: DeafSpace workshop with Hansel Bauman
    • Friday, March 21st (time TBD) meeting in Canaday A18 with Hansel to review student designs for the DUIC
  • Friday, April 4th Canaday A18 at 3pm: Meeting to synthesize student designs and talk about planning for the upcoming semester
