Trees

Sitting on the wooden bench in front of English house, I am surrounded by trees and immersed in the song of a hidden bird. The tweets of the bird seem to be humdrum and bleak, not so adorable, but are especially harmonious with the whistling of the freezing air. Leaves keep falling down from the tall trees. I can’t identify what kind of trees they actually are, but I know they’re not the same species. The tree in front of me is soaring but thin. There are not many leave left, mostly on the very top of the branches. The withered leaves represent a light yellowish color, the most unique color among all the trees. Another tree beside it is more exuberant, the leaves on the tip of branches are dyed red by autumn while the leaves at the bottom are still verdant. Scanning the environment around me, I saw different trees with various colors and also different colors on the same tree, making me think that the colors of trees are just like the unique personalities of human beings. The personalities could be influenced by the environment just like the colors are affected by seasons and temperature. Moreover, a person will never have just a single kind of personality, everyone is complex.

When I am leaving the garden, a fallen branch stumble me, maybe the trees are trying to make me stay. “I sure will come back to this wonderful place”, I thought while I step over the branches and left the garden.
