The weather doesn’t make sense to me in here. The same sun that is warm enough to heat my face, isn’t able to overcome the polar wind. It’s how I feel in this place sometimes. Sunny, Bright, Energetic but unable to make the same apparent difference as I would somewhere else.

My 30 min exploration was divided in several days because I decided to explore my favorite part on Campus: The Hammocks. The soil right under it has no grass due the amount of people walking and pushing themselves on the Hammocks. The soil is a light brown, dry and with a morbid aspect. So opposed to the smiles full of life and joy around it and the life of the grass.

The Hammocks are colorful, but the faded color shows us the real age. By laying on it I can see my legs and feet directly, what makes me feel more in contact with the environment I am in. The swing of the Hammock reminds me of two childhood safe places: a crib and a swing. The memories of fun, joy and endearment I have of those places, paint on that environment a safe place since the first time I’ve been there.

On the background I can observe the threes, some with brown leaves, red, orange and even some leafless. That gives me the impression that sometimes you have to let go something that seems to be essential in your life, gradually, to make it through a harsh time. Like the leaves that helps the trees to photos.
