I am really interested in knowing about the history behind Bryn Mawr College. I acknowledge the Black at Bryn Mawr tour but I strongly feel that there’s much more left out. Like who was the first African student at the college? How was her stay here? Was is it similar to Enid Cook’s? What were the stipulated grounds for her stay then? Bearing in mind the white supremacy vision during the foundation of the college, when did the college start giving scholarships? What factors contributed to this?
