I want to use this project as an opportunity to look into the issues surounding Asian-American identity. There is a large difference between growing up in America versus growing up in Asia which also tends to lend the idea that Asian-Americans especially do not belong to one or the other. I would like this project to become an opportunity to branch out specifically to Asian American students who feel as if it is difficult for them to connect to already made clubs that are mainly consisting of Asian students from Asia. I do not intend for this project to divide Asians living in America and Asian-Americans, rather, I hope that this will be an illuminating project for those who feel as if they are stuck in the in-between.
