"non-compliant"

Yep, "non-compliant" or "treatment resistant" raises some very interesting issues about both health and mental health. Amusingly, it does so about education as well. Teachers tend to spend a lot of time complaining about students who don't "get it," and explaining to themselves/others why this isn't their responsibility. Maybe that also "has no benefit ... (and may in fact be detrimental)?
