Delpit Barometer Questions

  1. Diversity in a college setting correlates to the success of students in the real world because they are able to adapt to different cultures.
  2. Students should have the autonomy to choose their own educational track regardless of the opinions of the culture of power.

1. If you acknowledge different dialects in the classroom that would get rid of insecurities of the students to help them learn better. 

2. we should define academic language in the classroom to make it explicit to students how to use the language properly for academic purposes.
