Lyrics to my individual evolution.

Here’s a story of how I’ve grown and learned things
From sharing stories
I will start out with how I walked into class
And sat there listening

I was very quiet
Too nervous to say anything
That was doubting
I kept my thoughts to myself,
Focusing on reactions of the people who were busy shouting
But then after a few weeks
I let my persona leak
Oh, oh, oh
No one acted how I feared
And my tension disappeared
Now you’ve met me

I used to be shy, shy, shy
Now I’m bold, bold, bold
I’m molded by the stories my classmates told
They opened up my eyes
Now I see in different lights
I learned things aren’t always black and white

Here’s a story of how I’ve grown and learned things
From sharing stories
Here’s a story of how I’ve grown and learned things
From changing

It’s me C. Ho
I know you love it
My-my-my my favorite P. Grobs
1, 2, 3 to the 4-sho
Made my brain think and flow
Got me focused on things that I do so true
I worked on fightin with writin
I kept on fixin and mixin
‘Til the end I got what I need
Got me jumpin jumpin off of my feet

Though this class has ended
Transcended
I will keep on rangin and changing
Every time I’m tellin a story
I will think about you
Think about you
Thank you all for sharing and carin
And I won’t stop bringin and bringin that BANG

Making sense
Of ourselves
Baby, experience

I used to be shy, shy, shy
Now I’m bold, bold, bold
I’m molded by the stories my classmates told
They opened up my eyes
Now I see in different lights
I learned things aren’t always black and white

Here’s a story of how I’ve grown and learned things
From sharing stories
Here’s a story of how I’ve grown and learned things
From changing

Of course, this did not go well during the performance.  I was still very nervous, partly because the audio was quiet, and I couldn't hear where I was in the song.  I would have been more comfortable performing this in the comfort of Paul's room with my class.
