Structural Differences

It is important to note that sex hormones do not only affect sexual behavior, but behavior can affect secretion of sex hormones. For example, studies have shown that sexual stimuli can increase testosterone levels in males monkeys. Similarly, mating behavior in females may provoke an increase of LH secretion (which may induce ovulation). This shows that the hypothalamic regions involved in the expression of sexual behavior as well as those concerned with the secretion of gonadal hormones may exert some functional interactions.

If we were to look at sexual orientation, would we see structural differences as well?
