Post Web paper (Knowing the Body)

Skip instructions

Please fill in all of the first three fields below. Email address, full name and paper title are all required. Your name and the paper title will automatically be added to your paper, so be sure these are the way you want them to appear.

Then type or paste the body of your web paper (without your name and the paper title) into the window below which contains a template including HTML tags needed to properly display your paper. Replace all (and ONLY) capitalized text in the window with your own text, leaving uncapitalized material undisturbed. The posting program will notice line and paragraph breaks and add the necessary HTML tags. Be sure paragraphs are separated by a blank line in your original paper. The posting program will also allow you to yourself add HTML tags to create links, add graphics, and so forth, so you can use these in your paper if you know how. The program will not, however, notice tabs or other text formatting characteristics (such as boldfacing or underlining) so, unless you are familiar with HTML you should keep the formats of your paper simple. If you are familiar with HTML and want to make extensive use of it for paper formatting, you can switch the program from "Plain text" to "HTML" by selecting that button below the text window. In this case, however, you will need to yourself add tags for line and paragraph breaks.

You can check how your paper will appear, including name and title, by clicking the "Preview" button, and then modify what you have entered until you are satisfied. When you are ready, click the "Submit" button to submit your paper.

Email address: (e.g., jdoe@brynmawr.edu)

Full name: (Firstname Lastname, as it should appear in the index, e.g., Jane Doe)

Paper title: (as it should appear in your web paper)

Please type or paste your paper into the template below. Only items in uppercase should be replaced with the appropriate text. All other text and tags should be left as is. You do not need to add your paper title or name here, as these will be added automatically from the fields above.

Paper formatted as: Plain Text     HTML

(Leave "Plain Text" selected if you want line breaks and paragraph breaks to be translated into <p> and <br> tags. Select "HTML" if your text already uses <p> and <br> tags. Other HTML tags will work correctly with either selection.)
