A Second View of Togo

A tale of serendip. On her most recent trip to Togo, Susan White found herself on a plane with Ann Todd, an artist living near Bryn Mawr. Ann had been a Peace Corp volunteer in Togo in 1970, visited again in 1990, and like Susan, was making her third trip at the beginning of 2000.

Ann worked in ...., doing .... . The child ... in the black and white picture was the youth to whom Ann is showing the earlier picture in 1970, and the chief of the village, with his arm around Ann in 2000.
