What are the special challenges we face to make science accessible for all students?

  1. There's a need to support techers that have inclusion (special education kids in regular education classes). All students should have the same exposure to science and many chances to explore. without support, the lower ability students are not receiving the same quality of teaching as the other students.

  2. Teachers struggle with the balance between teaching content and using scientific method for independent exploration.

  3. Many schools are not equipped with necessary supplies for science.

  4. Many teachers are fearful of science.

  5. Students have preconceived ideas of science and scientists.
