One of the things that I have learned as a result of teaching today’s students is you must find ways to make reading and reviewing engaging activities.  Using PowerPoint demonstrations involving  lots of animations is a good tactic for presenting text.  Students like privately guessing as to how the next slide’s text animations will appear.
