A Fresh Start for Pregnant and Parenting Teens

Fresh Start is an educational development program sponsored by the Lutheran Settlement House, a government-sponsored non-profit organization in Kensington, Philadephia, PA. Fresh Start is a place where qualifying teen mothers and mothers-to-be come together to work toward passing their GED exam or to study for returning to school for their high school diploma.

In order to qualify, a candidate must satisfy the following criteria:

1. age 13-18 years old
2. pregnant or with children
3. officially dropped out of school
