Representation of Visual Fields
Each frog has binocular vision for the frontal 90 degrees centered over the mid-sagittal plane.
The optic nerves, one from each retina, cross the mid-sagittal plane of the frog to the opposite tectal lobes, where each tectal lobe contains a topographical representation of the corresponding retina.
