Telling and Retelling Fairy Tales: A Symposium

"The Nature of Inquiry" is a College Seminar Course for freshmen at Bryn Mawr College, which is taught in three sections by Professor of Biology Paul Grobstein (see section syllabus), Senior Lecturer in Anthropology Janet Monge, and Associate Professor of English Michael Tratner. The three sections met together on Sunday afternoon, 8 October, for a three hour symposium to share perspectives they had each been developing on the telling and retelling of fairy tales. Students presented essays, stories, skits, and puppet shows, and discussed the relations among them. Pictures on this and following pages (Photo Gallery 2 and Photo Gallery 3) are from the symposium.
